Aluminum truck

First aluminum truck tank made by the Davis Welding and Manufacturing Co., Cincinnati, Ohio. is mounted on aluminum trailer made by the Fruehauf Trailer Co., Detroit, Michigan.  This tank and trailer was tested by The National Refining Company on April 17, 1929. The tests were conducted to see the savings of aluminum over steel.
