On May 13, 1882 J. I. Lamprecht started The
National Oil Company, which later became The National Refining Company. This company
initially started as a distributor of oil products. Offices and works started at 225
Canal, Cleveland. This small company would develop into the largest independant oil and
refining company of it's time. Started using the trademark.
Trademark #103,441 was in use since November 1, 1882. Was displayed on cans, barrels, and other packages containing lubricating-oil, gasolene and axle-grease. |
